Alex de Brito started in the Industry as a Travel Agent in 1983, he then moved to the Restaurant and Bar Industry in Paris, in 1998 was hired at the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominica

Republic, and later moved to Allegro Resorts where he stayed until 1999. He then was hired by Elite Island Resorts in Antigua as Vice President of Operations and presently holds the position of Vice President of operations at the Galley Bay Resort & Spa in Antigua and Palm Island Resort &Spa in the Grenadines.

His passion for the Tourism Industry began at an early age, as his parents both worked in the Airline Industry, his wife and their two sons are also hoteliers. His passion continues today, as he now sits on the Board for the Antigua Barbuda Tourism Authority and as a representative for the Antigua Hotel and Tourist Association on the Medical Benefit Scheme Board. In the near future he seeks to further develop training and education within the Tourism Industry in Antigua.
